TACTICAL COMMS

Topics:

The Tactical Comms and Tech Seminar provides students with an overall understanding of basic communications electronics, troubleshooting procedures, radio programming, wavelengths, data, secondary forms of communication and techniques for relaying field expedient information.  Students leave the course with a very good overall understanding of all things radio -Discuss radio frequencies and bands -Radio Operations -Radio Etiquette -Radio Programming -Capabilities of the UV5R -Radio accessories and familiarization of ITAK/ATAK. 

Needed:

Baofeng UV-5R radio, laptops, phone or ipad, programming cables, any of that gear that you have related to radios.
